Print Screen Mac Keyboard Windows 10

  • I use a Mac keyboard with my pc but there is no print screen key. I found a thread a while ago, followed instructions and programmed print screen as a hotkey on F10. It was very simple, no additional software, it wasn't right-click on the app shortcut, no modifying registry, nothing like that.
  • How to Print Screen on Mac Using Windows Keyboard If you use a Windows keyboard with Mac, the steps to take a screenshot remains the same. However, you have to use Windows keyboard equivalents. So, to take a full screenshot on Mac using Windows Keyboard, press: Windows + Shift + 3.
  • The Command key on the Mac keyboard equals the Windows key. All actions, which you perform using the Command button on the Mac, you need to use the control button in Windows (e.g.: Copy = Ctrl + C). The function keys can be activated in the session by pressing additionally the FN key (e.g.: FN + F1).

If you’re using a third party keyboard with your Boot Camp Windows installation, things can get a little bit trickier. Some cross-platform keyboards have a Print Screen key already. Others use the F14 key as Print Screen.

Mac equivalents of Windows keys

Many of the keys that you'd see on a PC have equivalent keys on an Apple keyboard.

If your Apple keyboard doesn't include the following keys, you can recreate them in Windows using the On-Screen Keyboard.

Use the Snipping Tool to print screen

To recreate the Print Screen and Print Active Window function in Windows, use the Snipping Tool.

Hi there,

I've just bought a MacBook Pro with Touch bar and installed Windows 10 using bootcamp. Everything works fine as in my previous generation Macbook Pro apart from taking screenshots using what it would be in a Windows Laptop the Print Screen key

In my old Macbook Pro I used to press Fn + Shift + F11 to take a screenshot of the window, this is no longer working in the new Macbook Pro with Touch Bar.

Any idea if this is even possible/configurable?

Best free auto tune app. Thanks

Juan
